Key Responsibilities- Guest Service Focus: Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all guests are greeted in a friendly manner, making them feel welcomed and appreciated.
- Operational Efficiencies: Assist the General Manager in managing operational efficiencies, including transactions, location appearance, and sanitization, as well as maintaining appropriate stock levels.
- Team Development: Assist the General Manager in the selection, training, and coaching of new team members, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
- Food Preparation and Safety: Assist with counter, dining room, drive-through team, and food preparation, executing company processes and programs to provide a consistent guest experience.
- Reporting and Administration: In the General Manager's absence, complete manager reports, product ordering, and banking as needed.
- Leadership and Coaching: Lead by example in executing company values, programs, processes, and policies, and provide feedback, coaching, and direction to fellow team members.
- Safety and Compliance: Make safety a priority within the location for guests and team members, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- 6 months of experience as a Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or equivalent in a restaurant environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred education is a high school diploma or GED.
- National Food Safety Certification required; can be obtained within 60 days of placement in position.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Soft skills include being comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members, having high energy, and being able to move from one activity to another quickly.
This is a full-time position that involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as Cumberland Farms Inc. locations can be open 24 hours depending on the location. Weekend and holiday hours are required. Reliable transportation is a must, and you will be required to deliver deposits to the bank on occasion.
