About the Role:

The landscape of employee rewards is continuously evolving, and we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic team at Oakleaf Partnership. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on a diverse range of responsibilities that blend both analytical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cash compensation initiatives while gaining exposure to various aspects of the rewards framework, including employee benefits, share schemes, remuneration regulations, and corporate governance.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and other business units to aid in the development, implementation, analysis, administration, and communication of compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Contribute to the annual compensation cycle by focusing on data analytics, ensuring accurate execution of salary and incentive processes.
  • Conduct market data compensation surveys and maintain incentive accrual files for Finance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of employee job matching and benchmarking databases, along with the development and testing of year-end compensation tools.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing various annual regulatory disclosures, including Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap calculations and Real Living Wage monitoring.
  • Engage with the broader HR function and business units to provide technical reward guidance and advisory services, including crafting salary and incentive package recommendations for new hires and internal promotions.
  • Participate in project work that aligns with strategic priorities across HR, Finance, and the wider organization, focusing on the impact of employee rewards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Relevant experience in a similar compensation role, ideally having supported multiple compensation cycles.
  • A solid understanding of roles and team structures within the Financial Services sector, with familiarity in utilizing compensation data from reputable sources.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and a high level of competency with MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel. Knowledge of Workday HCM and Curo Compensation would be advantageous.
  • A strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset, with comfort in managing large datasets within a relevant context.
