Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Radiology Technologist position that requires a strong background in medical imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
