Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students in a school setting in Charleston, MS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to achieve their full potential in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Mississippi state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
