Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating plastic and metal reservoirs using various welding machines and equipment. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform duties to fabricate plastic and metal reservoirs using various welding machines and equipment.
  • Work from blueprints, shop orders, and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Set up angles and temperatures on plastic welders to achieve high-quality welds.
  • Operate hand welding torches to fabricate and attach metal couplings and covers.
  • Set up head, speeds, and gas pressure on seam welders to meet production requirements.
  • Replace tips and cones on welding equipment as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Certification per ASME Section 9 is a plus.
  • Ability to produce X-ray quality welds using GMAW, SMAW, and SAW processes is essential.
  • Must be able to pass a 1G, 5G, and 6G pipe test.
