Key Position Details

* Day/Evening/Night 8/12-hour shifts

Job Description

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform technical and diagnostic imaging functions under the direction of the radiologist. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Completing procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
* Identifying patients with two identifiers and documenting accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
* Observing and communicating with patients, responding to their needs and maintaining a safe patient environment
* Performing procedures with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrating knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
* Providing accurate clerical functions, including using Excellian (electronic medical record) and understanding the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System
* Communicating with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others

Required Qualifications

* Vocational or Technical Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
* Licenses/Certifications: Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required, must be registered upon hire
* BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire

Physical Demands

* Medium Work: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
