The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $145,000 to $190,000, depending on location and experience.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our talented development team. In this critical position, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and refining our core web applications and microservices using Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript, and ReactJS. Your expertise will enable us to deliver top-tier web service solutions tailored specifically for managing digital ordering channels in the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a driving role in software and systems architecture design, polishing the merchant experience for managing digital ordering channels.
- Own several components in a software system, providing guidance to other members of the team.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to align on strategy, execution, timelines, and quality.
- Regularly collaborate on architecture designs and contribute high-quality code.
- Create innovative solutions using the latest technologies and tools for frontend and backend development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product direction and deliver complex applications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience directly applicable to the position.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- At least 4 years working with Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript/ReactJS or a similar interpreted language.
- Proven ability to build robust software solutions that solve complex business problems.
- A high level of proficiency in web technologies and asynchronous process handling.
- Excellent comprehension of software development methodologies and their impact on producing high-quality software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people in both verbal and written form.
