Job Summary
College of the Sequoias is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach in the Certified Nursing Assistant Program within its Allied Health Department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive classroom instruction to community college students and contribute to the development of student learning objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach face-to-face classes in the Certified Nursing Assistant Program
- Collect and submit data on student learning objectives as needed
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Teaching experience in a community college setting
- Ability to teach face-to-face classes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a nursing program
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
