About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Contract Pharmacist to join our team at Griffin Memorial Hospital. As a Contract Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications, narcotics, and other pharmaceutical supplies as prescribed by doctors.
  • Compound individual prescriptions as necessary and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct regular checks on emergency stock supplies and replenish as needed.
  • Monitor patient charts for potential overdoses, drug interactions, and side effects.
  • Consult with physicians on prescription revisions and ensure proper paperwork.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of Oklahoma. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a part-time, contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $60, increasing to $65 on holidays. The work schedule is subject to availability and experience, with typical pharmacy hours being weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
