We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to support multiple Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) International Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APML). This senior-level position will serve as the primary interface on project-related requirements and technical risks.
Key Responsibilities- Apply project principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military weapons systems.
- Review and prepare project and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyze designs, develop, implement, test, and evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering and functional requirements of military weapons systems.
- Interface with system and program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.
- Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret Security Clearance.
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university and greater than ten (10) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.
