Qualis Corporation is on the lookout for several skilled Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineers who possess expertise in Position, Velocity, and Timing algorithms to enhance our dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Develop and implement sophisticated algorithms, methodologies, and research techniques to investigate and resolve challenges related to position, velocity, and timing acquisition.

2. Contribute to the formulation, monitoring, and upkeep of system requirements for intricate developmental technology initiatives.

3. Aid in the identification, definition, and execution of verification and validation strategies for system requirements.

4. Conduct thorough reviews of literature, patents, and contemporary practices pertinent to assigned projects.

5. Establish technical analysis methodologies, perform independent research, and present findings effectively.

6. Assist in the preparation of test documentation for inclusion in evaluation reports.

7. Engage in investigations, analyses, and tests of significant complexity.

8. Perform failure analysis and devise corrective actions.

9. Collaborate with integrated test teams.

10. Support the development and presentation of technical white papers and executive briefings.

11. Contribute to the formulation of the program's technical approach and roadmap.

12. Assist in the creation of the technical program plan, identify milestones, and ensure alignment with technical objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:


- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical, System, Electrical, Computer, Software, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related STEM field from an ABET-accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in system engineering, design, analysis, and testing.

- At least 3 years of experience in the development, testing, and evaluation of position, velocity, and timing algorithms.


- Strong understanding of engineering principles, including Global Navigation, Satellite Systems (GNSS), RF communications, measurement and estimation techniques, and error correction theory and implementation.

- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink is required.

- Experience in leading technical teams through the lifecycle of developmental programs.

- Proven experience in spearheading research and development initiatives.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance.

- Must be a US Citizen to secure and maintain an active Secret clearance.

- Willingness to relocate to the designated work location.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in System, Electrical, Computer, or a related technical engineering field from an ABET-accredited university.

- Top Secret clearance is preferred.

- Experience in supporting projects for the Department of Defense.

- Familiarity with Kalman filtering or other optimization techniques.

- Knowledge of software-defined radio platforms and design processes.

- Excellent time-management skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
