Job Details

Elite Staffing Company is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join its team in Smyrna, GA.

This full-time role offers an hourly salary of $16 and benefits in a dynamic work environment.

About the Position

In this role, you will maintain a safe work environment and ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product specifications that meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Additionally, you will conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through participation in customer work groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product specifications that meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate associate compliance with quality and food safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare for and participate in customer and regulatory audits to ensure superior audit scores and compliance.
  • Document root cause analysis, risk assessments, and implementation of change control, and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Communicate quality information to plant leadership through regular reports, meetings, and presentations.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related field (preferred).

Strong communication and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are also necessary.

A working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, food quality testing, and safety issues is highly valued.

Work Schedule:

The 1st Shift operates from Monday to Thursday and every other Saturday, from 5am to 3pm.
