About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Refrigeration Installer to join our team at Shoffner Acquisition Corp in the Knoxville, TN area. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install refrigeration systems in commercial settings, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to accurately plan and execute installations.
  • Connect electrical wiring and control panels, as well as set up and connect compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other components.
  • Install and connect refrigerant lines, comprising different types of pipe and fittings.
  • Perform start-ups to verify system functionality.
Requirements
  • 4 years of refrigeration installation experience, with EPA Universal or other HVAC-related certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to be cross-trained in different trades.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work efficiently in confined spaces.
