Job Summary:
Aerotek is seeking a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding and heavy steel fabrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding of dual shield and flux core wire
- Custom heavy steel fabrication
- Working from shop blueprints and using basic shop math (fractions, decimals)
- Operating press brakes and rollers to manipulate metal
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of welding experience on material 1/4in or thicker
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, weld symbols, fractions, decimals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- A weld hood
- Pass a weld test, blueprint test, and math test
