We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Independence Village. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our residents' apartments and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned, adhering to departmental standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment, including buffers, extraction equipment, and vacuums.
  • Perform all laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding.
  • Report any supply or equipment needs to the supervisor for replenishment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and/or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing and walking required.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interaction with residents, family members, and staff. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, and occasional travel to different locations may be required.
