Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in Bakersfield, California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
