Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience: Two years' experience in a clerical role in a healthcare environment, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and care.
  • Communication: Develop effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, outside businesses, and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Call Management: Manage incoming calls efficiently, directing them to the appropriate party and transferring calls when necessary, while taking complete and accurate messages.
  • Patient Registration: Register, pre-certify, and schedule patients accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and updated.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient eligibility for insurance using assigned tools and resources, update demographic and insurance information as needed, and copy information into the patient's account.
  • Data Entry: Collect demographic and insurance information from patients in a pleasant and efficient manner, and input data accurately into the patient management system.
Work Schedule:

Shift: 08:00 am – 5:30 pm, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $18 - $20/hr, with opportunities for professional growth and development.Contract Duration:

6 Months contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and company needs.
