Position Summary:

The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing team with ongoing projects and initiatives. By the conclusion of the internship, the intern is expected to perform standard marketing tasks and complete special assignments as directed by the Marketing team. This role will provide exposure to digital marketing, retail marketing, eCommerce strategies, and customer engagement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Heinen's Google Business Profiles through regular updates and customer review management.
  • Oversee online event promotions and seasonal updates for stores.
  • Source, edit, and format digital content for Heinen's platforms.
  • Update and maintain essential pages on Heinen's website.
  • Assist in creating landing pages to support various programs and campaigns.
  • Edit and format blog content and digital assets for promotion across multiple platforms.
  • Perform additional digital marketing tasks as required.
  • Participate in company events and networking opportunities as available.

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn within a team setting.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop and WordPress is advantageous.
