Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting the perfect beer for their needs
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beer selection, including craft beers, commodity brand beers, and import beers
  • Work collaboratively with the beer department team to maintain a well-organized and effectively merchandised beer department
  • May be required to assist in other departments as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a strong passion for beer and a desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • Previous retail experience, experience in the beer, wine, and spirits industry, or hospitality industry is preferred
  • Ability to count cash and make change accurately
  • Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.)
  • Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Ability to read small type
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs
  • Ability to work in cold areas
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled
  • Consistent and regular attendance

Pay Rate: $16.75-$18.00+ based on experience

Part-time and full-time positions available.
