Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience supporting a variety of technologies and functions, including virtualization.

Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture and a broad knowledge of multiple technical disciplines.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and its various components.
  • Proficiency in scripting across multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of Windows server and Linux distributions (preferably RedHat).
  • Familiarity with various network and security protocols.
  • Ability to adapt quickly across different technology stacks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Advanced expertise in enterprise logging and monitoring tools, with in-depth knowledge of platforms such as SolarWinds, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions for complex IT infrastructures, including cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and SaaS environments.
  • Proficiency in coding/scripting in languages such as Python, PowerShell, and others for advanced automation and customization.
  • Proven ability to lead troubleshooting efforts, particularly during critical incidents.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to the development of logging and monitoring strategies.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry advancements.
  • Understanding of standard ITIL processes, including Change Management and Incident Management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
