Job Title: Med Pass Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Pass Nurse to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a Med Pass Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Job Summary:

The Med Pass Nurse is responsible for providing hands-on, person-centered resident care, wound care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports, and rapid response to any/all emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments, recording of vital signs, administering medications and treatments.
  • Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports, ensuring quality care is provided.
  • Interacts with residents' physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
  • Follows guidelines outlined in the Resident Care Plan, assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Assists with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of team members.
  • Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Four-year college or university degree desired.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
