Maintenance Manager Job Description

Roskam Foods is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of one of our largest facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities, while also driving efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and tactics to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance activities align with business objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and NFPA standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance operations, with 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings through maintenance optimization.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related software.
