We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team at ASG Staffing - Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring efficient production of high-quality parts.
  • Set up and run components through CNC machines, following print specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Position and secure workpieces, adjusting tools and checking programs during operation.
  • Produce complex close-tolerance parts through drilling, tapping, reaming, milling, and boring operations.
  • Develop and implement effective work sequences, utilizing holding fixtures and selecting appropriate cutting tools.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical aptitude; 3 years of experience in a CNC job shop environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations involving dimensions, tolerances, and ratios.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various forms of instructions.
  • Preferred: CAD-CAM knowledge and a journeyman's card in CNC and/or tool making.
About the Role:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing parts on CNC machines, making adjustments as needed, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. You will also assist in training apprentices and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
