Colorist Assistant

About the Job:

• Work closely with licensed colorists to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Assist in providing consultations, hair care services, and product applications.
• Develop strong communication skills to connect with guests and colleagues effectively.
• Meet and exceed sales goals, including retail sales, services, and memberships.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert advice on Madison Reed consultations, hair care products, and services.
2. Perform behind-the-chair services, such as shampooing, conditioning, and styling.
3. Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets and other key performance indicators.
4. Drive revenue growth through upselling services, memberships, and products.
5. Take initiative to learn and master color theory and application skills.

Requirements:

• A valid cosmetology license is required.
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is between $16 to $19.20 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for commissions, tips, and various benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance programs, and paid time off.
