MRI Specialist Bellevue Hospital Full Time Evening Shift Differential

We are seeking a highly skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist II-IV Certified to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or a related field.
- ARRT Certification/Registration and Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment.
