Dumore Corporation, a world-renowned leader in motion control solutions, is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team. With a rich history spanning over 100 years, we continue to innovate and push the boundaries of electro-mechanical product design.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly skilled Design Engineer to design and develop electro-mechanical products that meet or exceed customer specifications, company production and quality standards, and meet delivery requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design electro-mechanical products, including PMDC motors, BLDC motors, universal motors, and gearboxes, while meeting engineering standards, customer specifications, and cost constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take designs from specification through design, development, test, and delivery.
  • Develop and review technical specifications for all Dumore products, including part numbers and structured bills of material in the MRP system.
  • Perform detailed technical analyses and create test and analysis reports.
  • Develop technical solutions to known production, reliability, or performance problems.
  • Generate and review design documentation to ensure delivery of a quality finished product.
  • Facilitate design reviews with Design Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure project goals are met.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical (BSEE) or Mechanical (BSME) required.
  • 3 years of electric motor and/or gear experience required; prefer 6 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in the development and testing of DC motors, in-line, right-angle, and planetary gear motors required.
  • Fluent working knowledge of Solid Works, AutoCAD, and MS Office required; prefer experience using ERP/MRP.
