Job Title: Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at Memorial Health. As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopedic Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide age-appropriate assessment and care to patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in partnership with patients and families.
  • Delegate patient care tasks to LPNs and unlicensed assistive personnel based on job description, individual capability, and patient needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • RN license in the State of Illinois required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification per policy required.
  • National certification required (for certain positions).
