Branch Manager

At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our warehouse operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Branch, providing excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

• Manage personnel issues and supervision to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory management.
• Review financial and operational reports to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions.
• Direct subordinates to ensure timely and accurate management of all warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
• Define and communicate service standards and operational mission to employees and monitor activities to meet branch goals.
• Maximize sales opportunities by ensuring high levels of customer service and proper scheduling of the workforce.
• Manage selection, annual performance appraisals, and professional development of all management-level personnel.

• Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution in a supermarket, club warehouse, big box, or mass merchandising environment.
• Background in P&L, inventory control, merchandising, hiring/training staff, front-end, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security/loss prevention.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of running a high-volume warehouse operation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and people management/training skills.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.

The work environment is moderate, with areas that are cold (freezer) and hot (damages area). The work is mostly performed standing/walking, with occasional physical labor. Industrial vehicles (forklifts, Hilo) move material throughout the warehouse.
