Job Summary:
Body Fit Plus Inc is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at a correctional facility in California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clients, working closely with the service coordinator to develop service plans.
- Follow protocols regarding medication administration and treatments per physicians' orders, notifying physicians of all incidents, changes in condition, and need for evaluation of all medications or other treatment in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and directly with staff and assist them as needed in performing all aspects of their job, acting as a liaison with the physician, client, and all members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete incident reports, medication error reports, and drug reaction reports in a timely manner per protocol.
Requirements:
- Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.
- Clinical competencies must be current.
- Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport (Required).
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association.
- Possess a current and valid license issued by the California State Board of LPT license (Required).
