Caregiver for Adults with Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities in our residential group home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live their best lives as independently as possible.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

This is a part-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $20.25 per hour ($22.25 on weekends) and a range of benefits including paid training, annual raises, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for a federal student loan forgiveness program.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as administering medication, cooking meals, performing personal hygiene, and transportation to medical appointments.

You will also assist in implementing individual behavioral plans, teaching new skills, and encouraging interests and community outings.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and the ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
