Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at American Equipment Holdings. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to drive business growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with our executive leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly close processes, variance analysis, and trend analysis
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Manage the financial integration of acquired companies and implement common finance processes, procedures, and controls
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process and address any issues or concerns
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements, such as ASC 606 and FASB
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, Hyperion, and/or Oracle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
