Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $86,207 to $110,080 per year, based on relevant experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance stipend, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(k) with 100% matching up to 4% of salary, 8 days paid holidays, licensure/certification reimbursement of costs, and an annual profit-sharing bonus.

Job Responsibilities
This Associate Civil Engineer position plays a key role in our growing Civil Engineering Department in Chico, CA. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and performing responsible engineering work, serving as a Project Manager, and working with professional staff and project teams to assess and meet engineering needs, requirements, and deadlines. You will also be responsible for determining project invoicing, controlling budget, and meeting client satisfaction goals.

Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a current California Professional Civil Engineering license, a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school, and three or more years of full-time experience as an Assistant Engineer II or four or more years of full-time experience as a combination of Junior Engineer and Assistant Engineer I, and one year full-time experience as an Assistant Engineer II. You should also possess knowledge in the principals, practices, and techniques for civil engineering, knowledge of pertinent federal, state, county, and city statutes, rules, ordinances, codes, and policies, organized and efficient skills, outstanding communication, written and oral, and interpersonal skills, aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making, ability to make complex computations and develop plans, calculations, and specifications, strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, specifically Civil 3D, and Suite of Microsoft Office Products, proficiency in the use of personal computers, and focused development of skills for project management, leading a team, delegating tasks, and managing budgets.
