PennState Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Services Department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and conduct prescribed therapeutic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of respiratory care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of respiratory care services.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- RRT credential awarded by the NBRC preferred to start, required within 90 days of hire.
- Experience working in a sleep studies environment.
