Stationary Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Boys Town. As a key member of our Power Plant operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient and safe operation of our power plant systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on power plant equipment, including stationary and mechanical engines.
• Operate and maintain centrifugal chillers and other power plant systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance duties to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Respond to service orders, determine necessary repairs, and complete maintenance reports.
• Assist in completing administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records and recommending improvements to production methods.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in power plant operations, including 1 year of actual operating experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and ability to pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check.
• City of Omaha Third Grade Stationary Engineer License required at time of hire.

• Vocational training in power plant operations or a related field.
