Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in conducting comprehensive evaluations of healthcare personnel during Annual Health Assessments and during instances of illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments to ensure the health and safety of healthcare workers.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold effective communication with team members.
- Document findings and provide recommendations based on assessments.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 8 years of employment in the Registered Nurse role is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid nursing license to practice in New York State.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at the time of hire or within two weeks of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Occupational Health is highly desirable.
