Catapult Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for leading projects, ensuring proper practices and techniques are followed, and providing direction, review, and support to the survey group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, assign, and monitor the work of field survey crews.
  • Manage multiple project teams in the field, ensuring compliance with company safety standards.
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills to provide accurate and timely information to project teams, clients, and the public.
  • Conduct construction staking, planning, reports, maps, plats, deeds, local geography, physical evidence, legal descriptions, and research.
  • Ensure accuracy of documents and deliverables completed by the team.
  • Instruct, train, and mentor crew members.
  • Confer with project team members and clients to lead, prepare, and participate in project proposals and interviews.
  • Effectively manage and deliver projects on-time and on-budget.
Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent survey field experience.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate motorized vehicles.
  • Ability to walk on uneven terrain up to ten miles per day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Personal interest in the infrastructure industry or surveying subject matter.
  • Experience with specific surveying software or tools.
