Musculoskeletal Specialist

As a highly skilled Musculoskeletal Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and management in a fast-paced medical environment. We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon/Orthopedist to join our team at Healthcare Recruitment Counselors (HRC) in the Herndon, VA area.

This is a part-time or full-time opportunity for a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon or non-surgical orthopedist to join our vertically integrated musculoskeletal practice. Our team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work-related injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and collaborate with our team of experts in neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy.

• Deliver high-quality patient care and management
• Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and determine appropriate treatment
• Oversee the patient's diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Perform surgery when medically necessary (if an operative orthopedic surgeon)

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of VA
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon)
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

The estimated salary for this role is $200-$250 per hour for part-time and $400,000-$450,000 per year for full-time, depending on experience and qualifications.
