Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team at The Gori Law Firm. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in our Personal Injury and Municipality practice groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Assist the Supervising Attorney with case work-up and motions, ensuring timely and effective case management.
  • Client and Witness Interviews: Conduct thorough client and witness interviews to gather and evaluate critical information.
  • Depositions and Court Appearances: Depose witnesses and clients, and appear in court as needed to represent our clients' interests.
  • Discovery and Research: Assist with Plaintiff's discovery preparation, review and analyze medical records and bills, and conduct legal research to support our cases.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate assignments to team paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring seamless case management and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in personal injury, worker's compensation, municipal law, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office Applications, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, well-organized, and able to problem-solve and strategize.
  • Education and Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, and able to pass a pre-employment background check.
