Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a partnering hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and respiratory services to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, care plan, implement, document, and evaluate respiratory care services for patients
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) certification
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
