What We Offer:

Work Schedule: Hybrid (1-2 days remote)

Contract Duration: 12+ months

Compensation: $36/hr to $67/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the design, modeling, analysis, and validation of hardware for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.
  • Create components utilizing various materials such as metals, ceramics, quartz, and advanced coatings, collaborating with suppliers to meet performance and cost targets.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to SEMI, Lam Standards, and other relevant guidelines (ANSI, DIN, etc.), as well as best practices for GD&T.
  • Conduct analytical assessments to accurately characterize and specify both new and existing designs, focusing on heat transfer, stress analysis, vibrations, fluid dynamics, and manufacturability.
  • Formulate and implement test plans that yield sufficient characterization data to validate design performance.
  • Produce and deliver high-quality reports and presentations that effectively communicate design intent, analysis, and validation during design reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal departments to secure high-quality, well-tested, and cost-effective solutions that meet defined requirements.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues and may lead small-scale projects with manageable risks and resource needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HTL.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (NX and Inventor).
  • Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Ability to develop test plans.
  • Knowledge of heat transfer principles.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Experience in assembly and disassembly processes.
