About the Role

Invo Healthcare is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our school-based services team in an educational setting. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing speech therapy treatment for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders, speech and/or language impairments or delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement SLP Therapy Treatment: Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans for students with speech and/or language concerns.
  • Collaborate with IEP Teams: Serve as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team for students with speech and/or language impairments or delays.
  • Facilitate Goals and Objectives: Facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate with School Personnel and Parents: Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop and implement individualized programs for eligible students.
  • Perform Other SLPA Duties: Perform other Speech-Language Pathology Assistant duties and responsibilities as required by the program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification.
