Job Title: Outpatient RN - Ambulatory Care Specialist

Job Summary:

University of New Mexico - Hospitals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient RN - Ambulatory Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Assist physicians with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
  • Process data and generate reports to support patient care.
  • Document patient medical records and ensure accurate and timely communication with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel to ensure seamless integration into our team.

Requirements:

  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement.
  • 3 years of directly related experience.

Working Conditions:

Heavy work environment with moderate exposure to chemicals and dangerous equipment.
