Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Regional Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and delivering goods to customers across the Pacific Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures
  • Loading and unloading freight, as well as assisting with the loading and unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and maintenance records
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the last 3 years, or 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, as well as read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
