- Engage in the SikaSafe initiative and adhere to all safety protocols as stipulated by Sika's safety guidelines.
- Finalize Admix delivery meter tickets on a daily basis.
- Support the Manager/Buyer Planner in the scheduling, planning, and procurement processes.
- Oversee the delivery of raw materials and packaging needs utilizing MRP functionalities to align with production timelines.
- Assess production schedules and project requirements to fulfill production tasks.
- Track open purchase orders and follow up on overdue or delayed deliveries with suppliers.
- Facilitate, reschedule, or cancel material deliveries in response to demand fluctuations.
- Promptly inform the production team of any disruptions in the raw material supply chain.
- Authorize time and attendance records for temporary staff and communicate with staffing agencies.
- Report daily production metrics to the Plant Manager.
- Conduct cycle counts and other inventory checks as necessary.
- Manage inter-plant stock transfers.
- Assist the shipping department in coordinating truck schedules as required.
- Procure and maintain operational supplies for the plant.
- Handle returned products efficiently.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives focused on energy conservation and waste reduction within the plant.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the Plant Manager and Material Manager.
- Participation in SikaSafe activities and training is mandatory.
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficient math skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and percentages, are necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record is crucial.
- Self-motivation and the capacity to foster effective working relationships are important.
