Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure the safest anesthesia practices
  • Participate in the ACGME application process for the establishment of an anesthesia residency program
  • Engage in data-based and clinical research to foster an environment of innovation within the Department of Anesthesiology
  • Share knowledge and expertise through lectures for Department of Anesthesiology staff and provide educational support to Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Surgery residents

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Skill in Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia is a plus
  • New graduates are welcome
  • An active NYS License is required
