About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to clients/patients/residents
  • Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease
  • Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards
  • Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans
  • Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home
  • Knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations relating to the needs of clients/patients/residents
  • Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents
Requirements
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
  • Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
  • When applicable, may require valid driver's license
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
