Position Overview
This role is integral to the Baylor Medicine Comprehensive Healthcare Clinic's concierge and executive programs team, contributing to an interdisciplinary, advanced-primary care environment that prioritizes exceptional service and the highest quality of care. The team comprises various specialists, including physicians, psychologists, and exercise physiologists, addressing a wide range of patient needs from lifestyle management (such as meal planning and nutrition education) to complex therapeutic interventions (including post-acute recovery and diabetes education).
This position demands a high level of professionalism, as it involves interaction with distinguished Baylor College of Medicine constituents, including major donors, trustees, international patients, corporate leaders, elected officials, and members of the concierge program. The ideal candidate will exhibit a polished appearance, a strong customer-service orientation, a composed demeanor, and a flexible mindset. A keen interest in scientific research and academia will facilitate collaboration on innovative patient care solutions and program development with senior faculty and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
In addition to the specific duties outlined in the position description:
- Engage in regular training focused on enhancing patient experience.
- Collaborate daily with psychologists and exercise physiologists to create a comprehensive wellness program.
- Evaluate, endorse, and introduce innovative products within the clinic (including healthy foods, literature, and tracking tools).
- Participate in scientific and educational events (such as journal clubs, conferences, and grand rounds) to identify and implement innovative prevention and care strategies.
- Design and develop nutrition program tracks and workshops.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the American Dietetic Association and a Licensed Dietitian credential from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).
- Doctorate degree or currently pursuing one.
- Proven experience or interest in research initiatives.
- Capability to develop innovative programs.
- Understanding of the relationship between psychology and health behaviors.
