Medical Director for Geriatric Care in Central Massachusetts

At Physician Empire, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our geriatric care program in Central Massachusetts. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate physician to oversee the medical aspects of our PACE program. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that our participants receive high-quality, patient-centered care that addresses their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide medical leadership and direction to our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- To develop and implement effective care plans that take into account the physical, emotional, and social needs of our participants.
- To collaborate with our social workers and other team members to ensure that our participants receive comprehensive support services, including home care, transportation, and recreational activities.
- To work closely with our finance team to manage our budget and resources effectively, ensuring that we can continue to provide high-quality care to our participants.
- To stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in geriatric care, and to apply this knowledge to improve our program and services.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Additionally, we provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow and succeed in your role.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A medical degree (MD or DO) and board certification in family medicine or internal medicine.
- At least 5 years of experience working in geriatric care, preferably in a PACE program.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to quality patient care and population health management.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
