Ardent Health Services is seeking a dedicated Faculty Pulmonologist with a specialization in Cystic Fibrosis to enhance our comprehensive healthcare system. Our network consists of multiple hospitals and numerous physician clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume the role of a retiring pulmonary physician who currently oversees the adult cystic fibrosis program, facilitating a smooth transition.
- Engage in pulmonary practice alongside cystic fibrosis responsibilities.
- Contribute to a growing academic environment with a robust Internal Medicine Residency program.
- Conduct weekly clinics and provide consultations for hospitalized patients with cystic fibrosis.
- Collaborate with the cystic fibrosis care team to tailor treatment plans for individual patients.
- Participate in the cystic fibrosis registry and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in research efforts as part of the therapeutic development network.
- Work closely with the center director and cystic fibrosis coordinator on annual grant budgeting.
- Attend relevant conferences to stay updated on advancements in cystic fibrosis care.
