We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a K-8th grade caseload, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities and participation in school-related tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Illinois.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
